West africa today

West africa has a very vast range of countries. Some have very strong economies/political parties, but some others have very poor and corrupt economies/political parties. For example Nigeria has a very strong economy and a population of over 130 million people, they also have a pretty strong going political party. But Sierra Leon has a very poor economy and a corrupt political party mainly because they have been in a civil war for years, thus messing up the country. Although some countries have rich economies and political parties and some dont, almost all economies in West Africa have an oil based economy.

Garrett, I found myself wondering about the rest of west Africa! You name some countries like Sierra Leone and Nigeria, and that was good because you are comparing and contrasting but if you maybe put a few more countries in your post, it would be more effective. It was a good post overall and I really liked how you told us that even if some of the countries in West Africa are gravely poor, that there is an oil base in each one! Nice information and post Garrett :D
